Michael Wagenknecht is an experienced play-by-play broadcaster whose voice has become a familiar presence across college and professional sports broadcasts. Over the past seven years, he’s called NCAA, ACHA, and USL League Two action, delivering energetic, insightful coverage rooted in preparation and passion.

Based in the St. Louis area, Michael serves as a key member of Lindenwood University’s broadcast operations, where he not only calls games for radio and TV but also trains the next generation of student broadcasters. His work spans hockey, soccer, football, basketball, and baseball — combining an easy command of the action with a storyteller’s instinct that connects fans to the game.
